Women's Toboggan Enhancement Seminar

Calling all women patrollers!  Learn new sled handling techniques and bring your own to share.  This TES is designed to take the muscle out of running a sled.  See the flyer for more details and info on how to register.

For all TES programs held within the NW Region … All participants must be toboggan certified at their home area prior to participation in a TES program.  Please bring your NSP membership card and/or a printed copy of your NSP member profile for 2009. If you do not yet have your 2009 membership card and do not have access or cannot obtain a copy of your member profile your patrol director will need to provide documentation of your toboggan certification.  If you have any questions please contact Ross Bishop, NW Region S&T Advisor.  Please note that the above prerequisite is also a Summit at Snoqualmie Area Management requirement.

For the March 14, 2009 clinic participants are to sign in by 8:30 am on the fourth floor of the Summit at Snoqualmie - Central Patrol building, Snoqualmie Pass, WA.

NEW High-Speed Quad at Silver Fir

Our prayers have been answered...and any of you who endured the sedate ride up to enjoy Silver Fir’s awesome tree-lined runs, cruisers, and powder stashes can surely relate! After recent approval of the project by the U.S. Forest Service, we are proud to announce that next season you can expect a bright, shiny and FAST new high-speed quad chair to be in place of the current triple chair (which has been there since 1988 if you're wondering). Your ride time will shrink from it's current 10-plus minutes to just over 4! Cruising Silver Fir just got a lot more fun.
